Water Heater Closet Suffers Mold Damage in Ball Ground
This utility area in a Ball Ground house developed a significant mold problem as shown in the first photo. The crawl space was the source of moisture that led to the damage to the ductwork, floor, walls, and floor beams. Our SERVPRO of Cherokee County mold remediators demoed the damaged materials, wrapped and discarded them according to code, and cleaned up the area. We used HEPA filtration systems in our vacuums to prevent the circulation of dust and spores to other regions of the home. We installed a vapor barrier on the crawl space soil, sprayed an antifungal and disinfecting solution onto the exposed areas, and then proceeded with the reconstruction. Upon completion, the homeowner was very pleased with his shiny new water heater closet. Count on us by calling (770) 924-3848.
